Collection Exhibition TOP TEN – Vote for the “must-see” pieces of the exhibition!

The museum’s permanent exhibition, opened a year ago, presents 3,600 objects across eight rooms. We are delighted to see that many of our visitors spend hours exploring the exhibition — and even return again and again — while others visit Budapest only for a short time. For them, we would like to offer a short, walkable route that showcases the essence of the exhibition through ten highlighted objects.

But which ten objects should become the “must-see” stops of the collection exhibition? Each piece is especially meaningful to our curators, so we are eager to hear the opinions of our visitors as well!

Voting begins on October 11, 2025, the first anniversary of the exhibition’s opening, and runs until March 5, 2026, Museum Day.

You can cast your vote in person at both the opening and closing events.

Between these two dates, online voting will also be available.

During the voting process, visitors can select one object from each room that they would recommend to those who have only an hour to explore the museum. The eight objects chosen by the public will be joined by two special highlights — the St. Lucy’s chair that opens the exhibition and the costumed doll that concludes it — forming the TOP 10 list.

This curated route will later be available online and in a printed foldout guide, helping visitors enjoy a quick yet engaging museum experience.

Thank you for your vote — and for joining us in continuing the story of our collection exhibition!
